What these terms cover

These terms cover your use of Hedraios Scripture Context, developed by Justin Wilson, including its hosted study tools and ChatGPT workspace. They do not replace OpenAI’s terms or terms for other Hedraios apps and services. Please read the Scripture Context privacy policy before using the hosted tools.

Using the service

Use the service for lawful study and submit only material you are entitled to share. Do not interfere with the service, bypass its rate limits or use it to disclose someone else’s confidential information. Submit only information needed for the passage under study. Processing your request requires transmitting its tool arguments to the hosted service and returning results through ChatGPT.

Study aids and accuracy

The service provides passage text, context and automated study aids. Verify quotations, references and observations against the identified Scripture source. Suggested cross-references, inferred speakers and agency labels can be incomplete or mistaken. Distinguish a passage’s original setting from contemporary application.

The service does not guarantee an interpretation or a spiritual, personal, medical, legal or financial outcome. It does not replace responsible pastoral judgment or qualified professional advice.

Scripture and other material

The included World English Bible text is public domain. Its publisher permits faithful copies to use the World English Bible name; do not label changed text as an unchanged WEB quotation. See the World English Bible publisher’s notice. This public-domain status does not grant rights to plugin code, artwork or unrelated third-party material.

Submitting your content does not transfer ownership to Hedraios. We process it to respond to the request you chose. You remain responsible for having any rights or permissions needed to send that content.

Availability and limits

The service is provided as is and may be unavailable or change as we maintain it. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant uninterrupted availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
